You and Me
You’re an early riser,
I’m a sleeper-inner.
You’re a graze-all-dayer,
I’m a wait-for-dinner.
You’re a sip and savour,
I’m a gulp and guzzle.
You’re a word conundrum,
I’m a number puzzle.
You’re a speedy swimmer,
I’m a splash-arounder,
You’re a roller coaster,
I’m a feet-on-grounder.
You’re a vibrant purple,
I’m a mellow yellow.
You’re a choccie ice-cream,
I’m a toasted mallow.
We are all our contrasts,
We are good together,
We are bestest buddies,
You and me forever!
I’m a sleeper-inner.
You’re a graze-all-dayer,
I’m a wait-for-dinner.
You’re a sip and savour,
I’m a gulp and guzzle.
You’re a word conundrum,
I’m a number puzzle.
You’re a speedy swimmer,
I’m a splash-arounder,
You’re a roller coaster,
I’m a feet-on-grounder.
You’re a vibrant purple,
I’m a mellow yellow.
You’re a choccie ice-cream,
I’m a toasted mallow.
We are all our contrasts,
We are good together,
We are bestest buddies,
You and me forever!
