Wrong Way Day
I can't get today the right way up
I can't tell left from right
I poured my cornflakes in my cup
I went to school at night
I spread my toast with toothpaste
I cleaned my teeth with jelly
I did my homework in my sleep
I neatly brushed the telly
I walked to the bus stop on my hands
I washed my face with jam
I put the cat in my packed lunch
I filled my bag with ham
I called my teacher Mummy
I did sums on the wall
I sat on the teacher's special chair
(he didn't like that at all!)
I said my name was Tuesday
I said the month was red
I can't get today the right way up
I'm going back to bed.
I can't tell left from right
I poured my cornflakes in my cup
I went to school at night
I spread my toast with toothpaste
I cleaned my teeth with jelly
I did my homework in my sleep
I neatly brushed the telly
I walked to the bus stop on my hands
I washed my face with jam
I put the cat in my packed lunch
I filled my bag with ham
I called my teacher Mummy
I did sums on the wall
I sat on the teacher's special chair
(he didn't like that at all!)
I said my name was Tuesday
I said the month was red
I can't get today the right way up
I'm going back to bed.
