The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Winter Storm

Red nose, rosy cheeks
diamond flakes slowly dance
down onto my face.

Pink tongue poking out
diamond flakes slowly dance
onto it and melt.

Under the streetlights
diamond flakes slowly dance
like gleaming disco balls.

Red nose, rosy cheeks
I dance in the diamond flakes.
Silent, snowy bliss.
