The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Where is Doctor Who?

There’s a rattling in the garage.
I don’t know what to do.
It must be rusty Cybermen!
I can’t find Doctor Who.

There’s a buzzing in the wheelie bin;
there’s a loud crackling too.
I’m sure it’s Emperor Dalek.
But where is Doctor Who?

There’s a scratching in the kennel.
I think it’s time I flew!
Rex has turned into K-9.
Do you know what to do?

What’s thumping in the attic?
I haven’t got a clue.
It’s probably the Barber!
WHERE IS THAT DOCTOR WHO?!

My little sister’s in trouble;
her face is slimy with goo.
I think she’s making Bogeymen.
“Doctor! Doctor! YOO-HOO!”

WHERE IS that Doctor Who?
And WHO is Doctor Who?
Tell me... is it you?
