Where Wishes Begin
Where in the world
do wishes begin?
With puffs of white fluff
we blow in the wind?
With coins that we toss
in fountains and wells?
With stones we rub smooth
while whispering spells?
With candles that dance
as we shut our eyes tight?
With stars we watch fall
in the hush of the night?
Where in the world
do wishes all start?
With me, and with you,
and with hope in the heart.
do wishes begin?
With puffs of white fluff
we blow in the wind?
With coins that we toss
in fountains and wells?
With stones we rub smooth
while whispering spells?
With candles that dance
as we shut our eyes tight?
With stars we watch fall
in the hush of the night?
Where in the world
do wishes all start?
With me, and with you,
and with hope in the heart.
