What is it, the Future?
What is it,
the future?
And when?
And where?
Is the future…
now…?
Or now…?
Or tomorrow…?
Or, when we say the future,
do we mean a time beyond
the edge of seeing, time
beyond the power of knowing,
time where mist and shifting shadows
turn our days to months and years;
time we haven’t met,
but plan for, dream about?
the future?
