What To Buy This Christmas

Oh what to buy, oh my, oh my, what is the perfect gift
Do I spend a lot, or do I lose the plot, I don’t want to see you miffed.
I’ve thought of this and thought of that, but they never seem quite right
I don’t have a clue, but what do you do, what would be your delight
I thought a scarf, but you’d just laugh, the colours would be so gaudy
But then a coat, that’s not so remote, that wouldn’t be so tawdry.
But do you know what, that doesn’t cost a lot, I’ll give you all my time
No need to wrap it up, no ifs no buts, I think that will do just fine.
