Twenty Winks Before Bed
Now you’re big, and you know one to ten,
Let’s have a look at what happens then.
Eleven is the number of my new house,
Twelve yummy cheeses eaten by a mouse.
Thirteen pears picked from the tree,
Fourteen fish floating in the sea
Fifteen foxes sleeping in a den.
Sixteen rabbits run away from them
Seventeen drops of rain in a puddle,
Eighteen worms all in a muddle.
Nineteen clouds floating calmly by
Twenty winks as I close my eyes.
Let’s have a look at what happens then.
Eleven is the number of my new house,
Twelve yummy cheeses eaten by a mouse.
Thirteen pears picked from the tree,
Fourteen fish floating in the sea
Fifteen foxes sleeping in a den.
Sixteen rabbits run away from them
Seventeen drops of rain in a puddle,
Eighteen worms all in a muddle.
Nineteen clouds floating calmly by
Twenty winks as I close my eyes.
