Tree So Tall
There was a tree so tall,
it caressed the summer sky.
It caught clouds and kites
and small planes too.
I tried to climb its tremendous trunk,
but it was much too wide.
I tried to grab one bulky branch,
but it was much too high.
I finally lay upon the ground
beneath its outstretched arms,
and counted all its treasures
hoping one might tumble down.
it caressed the summer sky.
It caught clouds and kites
and small planes too.
I tried to climb its tremendous trunk,
but it was much too wide.
I tried to grab one bulky branch,
but it was much too high.
I finally lay upon the ground
beneath its outstretched arms,
and counted all its treasures
hoping one might tumble down.
