Things I would like to see more of
Poems, anthologies, & pamphlets everywhere in prominent places
Friendly long queues in indie bookshops of smiling new faces
Busy commuters helping welcome holidaymakers with heavy suitcases.
I would like to see more of these.
Examples in every childhood place of how books & Fairy tales can, for the better, usher in a new start.
Confidence-building classes in communities every time we are unsure how to make a start with art.
Celebration days for sisters, grandparents & aunts, even when we are apart.
I would like to see more of these.
Time reserved for board games and an outdoor adventure play.
The magic moments of clarity when we think of what we want to say.
Moments of hearing an abundance of seats are still available for us at the front of the theatre after a tiring weekday.
I would like to see more of these.
