The Traffic-lights Coloured Frog

Listen to Doryn's poem ... read by JH
My eyes are red,
my feet are orange,
my back is a bright
green.

I live in a rainforest,
warm and moist,

far, far away.

I sleep all day, hidden under a leaf.
If a creature disturbs my peace,
I pop open my eyes, push out my feet
and dazzle it into a muddle with my bright colours.
Before the beast knows what’s happening, I’m able to

hop, hop away.
