The Sea Phantoms' Dance
I strolled along the ocean shore
Listening to the whispering breeze
Singing tales never sung before
Of phantoms dancing above the seas
Dancing above the seas
They twirled a glistening promenade
The phantoms, quick and airy light
A rapid pirouette they made
Flowing beneath the glimmering night
Beneath the glimmering night.
The phantoms, they beheld my trance
And swept my wistful heart away
To join them in their blissful dance
Lifting me over the ocean spray
Over the ocean spray.
Tomorrow may I wake once more
To hear the zephyrs’ gentle songs
And stroll along the ocean shore
And fly to where my heart belongs
To where my heart belongs.
Listening to the whispering breeze
Singing tales never sung before
Of phantoms dancing above the seas
Dancing above the seas
They twirled a glistening promenade
The phantoms, quick and airy light
A rapid pirouette they made
Flowing beneath the glimmering night
Beneath the glimmering night.
The phantoms, they beheld my trance
And swept my wistful heart away
To join them in their blissful dance
Lifting me over the ocean spray
Over the ocean spray.
Tomorrow may I wake once more
To hear the zephyrs’ gentle songs
And stroll along the ocean shore
And fly to where my heart belongs
To where my heart belongs.
