The Sandcastle
A Summer PoemI built a castle down at Troon,
I used mum's cup and plastic spoon.
I built the tower on the shore,
It had a shell upon the door.
I dug a hole to make a moat,
A feather made a little boat.
Then mum said we'd be going soon,
The tide was talking to the moon.
My castle melted right away,
To be rebuilt another day!
I used mum's cup and plastic spoon.
I built the tower on the shore,
It had a shell upon the door.
I dug a hole to make a moat,
A feather made a little boat.
Then mum said we'd be going soon,
The tide was talking to the moon.
My castle melted right away,
To be rebuilt another day!
