The Rainbow
Tired and weary,
It's a slow journey home,
But guiding us,
Painting the dark sky
With its array of colours,
The rainbow.
It stays with us,
Touching the trees,
Stroking the grass,
Painting the dark sky,
With its gentle, soft fingers,
The rainbow.
It makes us smile,
Giving us hope,
Bringing us joy,
Painting the dark sky,
Telling us we're almost home,
The rainbow.
It's a slow journey home,
But guiding us,
Painting the dark sky
With its array of colours,
The rainbow.
It stays with us,
Touching the trees,
Stroking the grass,
Painting the dark sky,
With its gentle, soft fingers,
The rainbow.
It makes us smile,
Giving us hope,
Bringing us joy,
Painting the dark sky,
Telling us we're almost home,
The rainbow.
