The Little Stinker
by John Payne II and Cassandra PayneOur pup likes to put on shows
by standing on his hind leg toes.
He steals toilet paper to chew
or hides to sniff a smelly shoe.
Our pup likes to sigh or say “woof”
at birds that rest on our home’s roof.
He barks next to our yard’s wall,
although it makes no sense at all.
After he gets a health checkup,
we treat him to a big pup cup.
Nothing he does is horrible
because he’s so adorable.
by standing on his hind leg toes.
He steals toilet paper to chew
or hides to sniff a smelly shoe.
Our pup likes to sigh or say “woof”
at birds that rest on our home’s roof.
He barks next to our yard’s wall,
although it makes no sense at all.
After he gets a health checkup,
we treat him to a big pup cup.
Nothing he does is horrible
because he’s so adorable.
