The Kindness Tree
Today in class,
we made the kindness tree.
We each coloured a heart:
teacher, everyone and me.
The tree grew leaves,
heart-shaped and bright,
each whispering good deeds
and shining with light.
The arms reach sky-high,
the roots twist deep and wide,
its seeds hold hope
and thoughtfulness inside.
Each visitor to class
takes a seed from our tree.
We can all spread kindness:
teacher, everyone and me.
we made the kindness tree.
We each coloured a heart:
teacher, everyone and me.
The tree grew leaves,
heart-shaped and bright,
each whispering good deeds
and shining with light.
The arms reach sky-high,
the roots twist deep and wide,
its seeds hold hope
and thoughtfulness inside.
Each visitor to class
takes a seed from our tree.
We can all spread kindness:
teacher, everyone and me.
