The Good Listener
Max doesn’t ask lots of questions
or look for any answers
but he’s a good listener.
He doesn’t laugh when
I make mistakes
or go in a huff
if he doesn’t get his own way.
He’s always there for me
by my side.
He’s quiet and calm and patient
and a cuddle and tummy rub
is all he looks for in return.
Max understands me
better than people.
or look for any answers
but he’s a good listener.
He doesn’t laugh when
I make mistakes
or go in a huff
if he doesn’t get his own way.
He’s always there for me
by my side.
He’s quiet and calm and patient
and a cuddle and tummy rub
is all he looks for in return.
Max understands me
better than people.
