The Bright Side Of A Rainy Walk To School
The puddles are ponds
for imaginary ducks to paddle in.
The inside out umbrellas
are empty swimming pools
desperate to be filled.
The soggy dogs are walking boots
with laces made of teeth.
The hoods on heads are shower caps
for people ready for a scrub.
The wind’s an invisible giant
blowing out its birthday candles.
for imaginary ducks to paddle in.
The inside out umbrellas
are empty swimming pools
desperate to be filled.
The soggy dogs are walking boots
with laces made of teeth.
The hoods on heads are shower caps
for people ready for a scrub.
The wind’s an invisible giant
blowing out its birthday candles.
