Tarantula Hawk Wasp

The tarantula hawk wasp is a crafty mother
Brings up babies without slightest bother
A clever hider,
she looks for a spider
ZAP! A sting
When tarantula's legs turn to jelly
she lays an egg in its belly
It may sound cruel
but it's her larvae's fuel
It's a hawk wasp motherly thing.
