The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Tap Juice

fresh sky-bursts from
cloud fruit
splash down
air to earth
drip pour puddle pool
collect
in streams, rivers,
waiting wells,
ringing tanks,
water pipes.

turn tap
for cool sluice
of clear, sincere
favourite drink,
tap juice
