Take Flight
They don’t need barbed feathers
or aeroplane wings
They don’t need propellers
or kites on a string
They don’t need a spaceship
or hot air balloons
They don’t need coned rockets
on missions to moons
They do need devotion
and holding on tight
and regular dusting
for dreams to take flight
or aeroplane wings
They don’t need propellers
or kites on a string
They don’t need a spaceship
or hot air balloons
They don’t need coned rockets
on missions to moons
They do need devotion
and holding on tight
and regular dusting
for dreams to take flight
