The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Sun Games

A glimmer of sun peeked from behind the clouds,
A threat of rain, still in the mix.
Children screamed for the sun to stay out,
Want to run around and do some tricks.

Back and forth the sun played with them,
Will it stay or would it go back in?
Sure enough the sun sparkled like a gem,
To the delight of the kids who flashed huge grins.
