Summer Holiday Bookworm
Lying out on the grass
surrounded by trees,
by summertime shadows
and a warm easy breeze
I am lost in adventures
far far away
deep in the pages
of my book for today.
Characters roam
along twists in the plot.
I have to keep reading –
will they make it or not?
So as the sun climbs
then slides after noon
don’t expect me inside
anytime soon.
surrounded by trees,
by summertime shadows
and a warm easy breeze
I am lost in adventures
far far away
deep in the pages
of my book for today.
Characters roam
along twists in the plot.
I have to keep reading –
will they make it or not?
So as the sun climbs
then slides after noon
don’t expect me inside
anytime soon.
