Stripy Me
I read it in a magazine
that folks like purple, orange and green
but best of any colour type
in my opinion is the stripe
I have a stripy sofa
and I drive a stripy car
I get a stripy haircut when my hair grows out too far
I have a stripy goldfish
and my dog has stripy fleas
I walk across a zebra crossing often as I please
I sleep in stripy jimjams
and I dream a stripy dream
for breakfast there’s a stripy bowl of strawberries and cream
If every stripe should disappear
I wouldn’t feel too sad
because my second-favourite colour
is definitely plaid
that folks like purple, orange and green
but best of any colour type
in my opinion is the stripe
I have a stripy sofa
and I drive a stripy car
I get a stripy haircut when my hair grows out too far
I have a stripy goldfish
and my dog has stripy fleas
I walk across a zebra crossing often as I please
I sleep in stripy jimjams
and I dream a stripy dream
for breakfast there’s a stripy bowl of strawberries and cream
If every stripe should disappear
I wouldn’t feel too sad
because my second-favourite colour
is definitely plaid
