Stomp and Shout
Today I want to STOMP and SHOUT,
To STAMP and SCREAM and CRY.
My face has settled in a pout -
I don’t even know why.
I just woke up that way today -
It makes me want to hide.
“When you got out of bed,” they say,
“you got out the wrong side.”
My bed is shoved against the wall -
I can’t get out that side at all.
They don’t know what they’re on about...
Which makes me want to STOMP and SHOUT!
To STAMP and SCREAM and CRY.
