Stiffkey Marsh
Silently she drifts
Ever forwards in time
A blanket for the dusk
Of a moonlit marsh
Rolling whisps carry the air
Swirling in a playful breeze
Stealthily she creeps
Above a samphire cushion
Curlews snuggle shriek
Their last chorused cry
Lost in the ether of
A tidal dream
Ever forwards in time
A blanket for the dusk
Of a moonlit marsh
Rolling whisps carry the air
Swirling in a playful breeze
Stealthily she creeps
Above a samphire cushion
Curlews snuggle shriek
Their last chorused cry
Lost in the ether of
A tidal dream
