Spring Pool Party

Across busy roads
From all postcodes
There’s a race to the spring pool party.

There’s no highway code
For green and brown toads
Hopping to the spring pool party.

Small and big frogs
In bright swimming togs
Bounce to the spring pool party.

With a hop, skip and dash
In the pond. SPLISH! SPLASH!
Guests arrive at the spring pool party.

There’ll be foamy delight
And croaking all night
Making merry at the spring pool party.

Soon tadpoles, then froglets
With chirps, squeaks and ribbits
Will emerge from the spring pool party.
