Splishy Splashy Day
Wavy circles ripple.
Pitter-patter sound.
Splishy, sploshy puddles.
Slippy, sloppy ground.
Kick, splash,
skip, stomp,
laugh, squeal,
jump, PLOMP!
Raindrop-speckled forehead.
Socks that stick to toes.
Drizzle-drippy raincoat.
Sopping, soggy clothes.
Kick, splash,
skip, stomp,
laugh, squeal,
jump, PLOMP!
Shiny, bold umbrella.
Squishy, squashy dance.
Rainboots whirl and twirl—
a happy puddle prance.
Kick, splash,
skip, stomp,
laugh, squeal,
jump, PLOMP!
Sparkles in the air.
Faces bright with glee.
Stormy day adventure—
together, you and me!
