Space Food

My water bubbles, hovers
The honey squeezed, noodles
It pipes and glistens gold
shimmering transparent shapes

Delicious globes afloat
spheres that jiggle, shake
chomping and gulping down
viewing earth through portals

Like cats when falling down
I’m stretching, twisting, spiraling
I’m tucking, spinning, righting
I’m eating, whirling, dreambound

I slurp delicious juice
My pouch on empty level
nutritious menu selections
I gulp my jiggling bubbles

Chomp and slurp and gulp
My liquid globe refreshes
Before the countdown starts
My liquid blobs and splashes

My space desserts include
My cobblers, brownies, pudding
My chocolate candies, special
requests without any cooking

Towelettes cleanse my hands
My water’s limited, scarce
Recycle, compress my waste
small and use less space….

Viewing stars through portals
My future I’ll embrace
My dreams propel my future.
Dreams of eating in space
