Sound Around
The cow goes, “Moo.”
The chick goes, “Cheep.”
The owl goes, “Hoo.”
And “Baa-Baa,” goes the sheep.
“Meow,” says the cat.
“Bow-Wow,” says the dog.
“Squeak-Squeak,” says the bat.
“Croak-Croak,” says the frog.
“Caw-Caw,” says the crow.
And the dove says, “Coo.”
And babies, you know,
sort of make that sound too.
Summertime comes
and the cricket calls.
The hummingbird hums
and the waterfall falls.
There’s the murmuring rain
in a velvety hush,
a rumbling train,
and rivers that rush.
“Splash!” goes the fish
in a stream that flows.
And the mud goes, “Squish,”
between my toes.
And when the birds
warble and whistle their song,
we just add the words,
and we sing along!
The chick goes, “Cheep.”
The owl goes, “Hoo.”
And “Baa-Baa,” goes the sheep.
“Meow,” says the cat.
“Bow-Wow,” says the dog.
“Squeak-Squeak,” says the bat.
“Croak-Croak,” says the frog.
“Caw-Caw,” says the crow.
And the dove says, “Coo.”
And babies, you know,
sort of make that sound too.
Summertime comes
and the cricket calls.
The hummingbird hums
and the waterfall falls.
There’s the murmuring rain
in a velvety hush,
a rumbling train,
and rivers that rush.
“Splash!” goes the fish
in a stream that flows.
And the mud goes, “Squish,”
between my toes.
And when the birds
warble and whistle their song,
we just add the words,
and we sing along!
