Some Things I Know
In the tip-top
airship’s highest height
of my mind
I know that I am free.
In the deep-dark
ocean’s bottom-most floor
of my heart
I know that I am loved, deeply.
In the zip-zap
ready-set-go fleet
of my feet
I know that I can pause, and just be.
In the ping-pong
bounciest scattershot
of my thoughts
I know that I am fully
and wonderfully me.
airship’s highest height
of my mind
I know that I am free.
In the deep-dark
ocean’s bottom-most floor
of my heart
I know that I am loved, deeply.
In the zip-zap
ready-set-go fleet
of my feet
I know that I can pause, and just be.
In the ping-pong
bounciest scattershot
of my thoughts
I know that I am fully
and wonderfully me.
