The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Snowman

I made a little snowman
As friendly as could be

With carrot nose and his own clothes
He played with me all day.

We had much fun,
Until the sun,
Which meant he couldn’t stay,

He took one look at that great orb
And quickly ran away.
