The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Sleigh

Silver sleigh bells polished, Santa Claus has paused to
Load the gifts, with cheerful help from Mrs Santa Claus.
Elves round up the reindeer, harness each in place,
In Santa climbs, a Ho-Ho smile upon his Christmas face.
Girls and boys are waiting. Time for us to go!
He shakes the reins, then waves goodbye and sets off through the snow.
