Size Nine
I have big feet. We’re talking HUGE
Less a rowboat, more a luge.
I hate shoe shopping, just despair
Of finding my size anywhere.
Not one fairytale I like,
Cinderella can take a hike!
My sympathies were with her sisters,
Chopping off heels complete with blisters
Just to please some choosy prince.
I haven’t read a fairytale since.
What’s so great about small feet?
Know what, Cinders, revenge is sweet!
I’d win in any running race
And lots of people like my face.
Anyway, these days it’s fine
You can order any size online!
Less a rowboat, more a luge.
I hate shoe shopping, just despair
Of finding my size anywhere.
Not one fairytale I like,
Cinderella can take a hike!
My sympathies were with her sisters,
Chopping off heels complete with blisters
Just to please some choosy prince.
I haven’t read a fairytale since.
What’s so great about small feet?
Know what, Cinders, revenge is sweet!
I’d win in any running race
And lots of people like my face.
Anyway, these days it’s fine
You can order any size online!
