The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Singing Along With The Stream

Chuckles bright my little stream
Against the grassy bank
Curls itself around my toes
Warm like a cozy dream

Cuddles me in its bubbly music
Tinkling sounds of pure joy
Circles around my feet so light
It feels like sheer magic

Careful yet I do get sunburnt
feisty by my feet it flows
Carries along my heart song
In its winding silver current

Curious to know how it gurgles
and tingles on the skin?
Calling out to everyone
Who are my dear friends!
