Silent December
As I look out of the window,
Gazing out to the moon,
I think of my loved ones who are far away,
And I wonder,
If they can see what I see,
If they can see the moon smiling with the stars,
If they are touched by its silver glow,
The same silver glow,
That is stroking my face,
Wiping away the tears from my eyes.
I wonder if they can hear what I hear,
The moon whispering to me tenderly,
Whispering that it'll be all right,
That they're here with me,
In my memories,
In my heart.
As I look out of the window,
Gazing out to the moon,
I wonder,
As it reflects the light of the sun,
On this silent December night,
If it could reflect our love.
Gazing out to the moon,
I think of my loved ones who are far away,
And I wonder,
If they can see what I see,
If they can see the moon smiling with the stars,
If they are touched by its silver glow,
The same silver glow,
That is stroking my face,
Wiping away the tears from my eyes.
I wonder if they can hear what I hear,
The moon whispering to me tenderly,
Whispering that it'll be all right,
That they're here with me,
In my memories,
In my heart.
As I look out of the window,
Gazing out to the moon,
I wonder,
As it reflects the light of the sun,
On this silent December night,
If it could reflect our love.
