Sand Castle

Stefanie is a neurodivergent author and poet from New York’s Hudson Valley. A child of Woodstock and the Adirondacks, she is a lover of tall trees, igneous rocks, and the occasional porcupine. After studying music in school, she somehow started writing for children. She loves telling stories about the natural world and the beauty of diversity. She does her best creative thinking in the woods and by the water— sometimes as a mermaid.
