The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Quantity Surveying

Lots of living things are animals.
Most animals are insects.
One hundred per cent of insects have six legs.
All insect legs attach to the thorax.
Some say the thorax has three sections.
Pairs of wings may also be attached there.
Many of those wings are like parchment.
Several poems have been written on parchment.

Few of them were written by insects.
