Puppies
are scruffy,
squirmy, and stinky.
I would never, ever, want one.

Note from the author: This is a Fib poem: a six-line poem with the syllables per line equaling the first six numbers of the Fibonacci sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8. The poem is also telling a “fib” or white lie.
