Picnic Perfect
The weather for the day’s divine,
How ‘bout a picnic? Special treat!
But we won’t share, just us two’s fine,
Now, where to spread it out and dine?
Our picnic lunch we want to eat,
We’ll try the beach, who will we meet?
The beach is bright, the sea’s a-gleam,
We wade through waves and splash our feet,
Our picnic spot’s a sunlit dream,
- Hey! That seagull stole my ice-cream!
Our picnic lunch we want to eat,
We’ll try the woods, who will we meet?
The woods are calm, with leaves that crackle,
We call for birds, they twerp and tweet,
We see the sunlight dance and dapple,
- Huh! That fox just stole my apple!
Our picnic lunch we want to eat,
We’ll try the farm, who will we meet?
The farm is full, the fields are sown,
We hear a squawk, a baa, a bleat,
We find a secret spot, alone,
- Stop! That cow just stole my scone!
Our picnic lunch we want to eat,
We’ll try the park, who will we meet?
The park is lush, a leaf-green thicket,
A bench provides a lovely seat,
At last it’s quiet, so let us risk it!
- Oi! That squirrel just stole my biscuit!
Our picnic lunch we want to eat,
We’ll try back home, who will we meet?
We’re home again, our kitchen’s snug,
Just one thing left, a chocolate sweet!
A perfect picnic on the rug,
- Hey! Did you just steal a bear-hug?
How ‘bout a picnic? Special treat!
But we won’t share, just us two’s fine,
Now, where to spread it out and dine?
Our picnic lunch we want to eat,
We’ll try the beach, who will we meet?
The beach is bright, the sea’s a-gleam,
We wade through waves and splash our feet,
Our picnic spot’s a sunlit dream,
- Hey! That seagull stole my ice-cream!
Our picnic lunch we want to eat,

A perfect picnic on the rug,
- Hey! Did you just steal a bear-hug?
