One Star, One Hill
I tip my head back so far
on one small hill, see one small star.
I ask myself before I tumble,
where do I fit in this jumble?
Light and dark, shining glow—
sky too wide and deep to know.
I think I’ll sit and just be still
with one bright star and one small hill.
on one small hill, see one small star.
I ask myself before I tumble,
where do I fit in this jumble?
Light and dark, shining glow—
sky too wide and deep to know.
I think I’ll sit and just be still
with one bright star and one small hill.
