New Whooping Wood
The trees were all giggling
The fungi guffawed
The ferns were all tittering
The daffodils roared
The bluebells were chuckling
The crocuses grinned
The nettles were chortling
all thanks to Spring Wind
who tickled their branches
their blossom and buds
their stems and their petals
down New Whooping Wood
The fungi guffawed
The ferns were all tittering
The daffodils roared
The bluebells were chuckling
The crocuses grinned
The nettles were chortling
all thanks to Spring Wind
who tickled their branches
their blossom and buds
their stems and their petals
down New Whooping Wood
