New Forest
We went into the woods today
And played with all the things.
The spiky things
The flicky things
The splashy things
The mossy things
The pony things
The puffy things
The browning things.
The climbing things
The rolling things.
The stompy things
The mulchy things
The grabby things
The soggy things
The broken things
The growing things.
We played with all the things.
And they played back!
Hugging our boots
And scratching our smiles.
Hurrah!
For the revels to be had with such things!
And played with all the things.
The spiky things
The flicky things
The splashy things
The mossy things
The pony things
The puffy things
The browning things.
The climbing things
The rolling things.
The stompy things
The mulchy things
The grabby things
The soggy things
The broken things
The growing things.
We played with all the things.
And they played back!
Hugging our boots
And scratching our smiles.
Hurrah!
For the revels to be had with such things!
