Never Mind the Cats and Dogs
It’s raining goats in boats
and elephants with floats
a giraffe on a raft
and a stoat in a moat.
It’s raining wet rabbits
with dodgy diving habits
and soggy kangaroos
in very damp shoes.
It’s raining dripping dragons
in fast sinking wagons
and a slippery skunk
who has already sunk.
It’s raining glum gnus
with nothing left to lose
and a drifting moose
whose ship cut loose.
It’s raining sopping snakes
belly flopping kittiwakes
but the cats and dogs are done
they’ve gone off to seek some sun.
and elephants with floats
a giraffe on a raft
and a stoat in a moat.
It’s raining wet rabbits
with dodgy diving habits
and soggy kangaroos
in very damp shoes.
It’s raining dripping dragons
in fast sinking wagons
and a slippery skunk
who has already sunk.
It’s raining glum gnus
with nothing left to lose
and a drifting moose
whose ship cut loose.
It’s raining sopping snakes
belly flopping kittiwakes
but the cats and dogs are done
they’ve gone off to seek some sun.
