Natural History
An ostrich can’t fly in the sky
Oh my!
An ostrich can’t fly in the sky
Legs and wings the wrong size
For that bird to arise
We all know the reason why
Oh my!
An ostrich can’t fly in the sky.
A seahorse can’t run a racecourse
Of course!
A seahorse can’t run a racecourse
Run the Grand National?
That’s completely irrational
They just do not have the resource
Of course!
A seahorse can’t run a racecourse.
A tortoise can’t swim in the sea
You see!
A tortoise can’t swim in the sea
Natural History taught us
In the facts that it’s brought us
That that idea just couldn’t be
You see!
A tortoise can’t swim in the sea.
What a lucky creature am I
Yes I!
That I can swim, run, and fly
No height would I gain
without aid of a plane
But no reason to moan have I
Not I!
What a lucky creature am I.
Oh my!
An ostrich can’t fly in the sky
Legs and wings the wrong size
For that bird to arise
We all know the reason why
Oh my!
An ostrich can’t fly in the sky.
A seahorse can’t run a racecourse
Of course!
A seahorse can’t run a racecourse
Run the Grand National?
That’s completely irrational
They just do not have the resource
Of course!
A seahorse can’t run a racecourse.
A tortoise can’t swim in the sea
You see!
A tortoise can’t swim in the sea
Natural History taught us
In the facts that it’s brought us
That that idea just couldn’t be
You see!
A tortoise can’t swim in the sea.
What a lucky creature am I
Yes I!
That I can swim, run, and fly
No height would I gain
without aid of a plane
But no reason to moan have I
Not I!
What a lucky creature am I.
