My friend’s Animal-Themed Birthday Party

I went to my friend’s ninth birthday,
It was well and truly WILD.
The party guests were animals;
There was not one single child:
The panda played pass the parcel,
The cheetah won musical chairs,
The snake ate six jam sandwiches,
The piñata was burst by the bear.
The pig pinned the tail on the donkey,
The gorilla monkeyed around,
The lion leaned lowest in limbo,
The treasure was found by the hound.
The coyote sung karaoke,
The parrot popped all the balloons,
The koala kicked-off the conga,
The fish ran away with the spoon.
The dragon blew out all the candles,
The others howled HIP-HIP-HOORAY!
Yes, the party was totally WILD,
'Cause the face-painter came for the day!
