My Noo Yawk
Central Park
Bronx Zoo
Coney Island
Museums too!
Yellow taxis
Zooming by
Skyscrapers
Scraping skies
Actors act on
Our Broadway
King Kong even
Came to play
Some say our trains
Are made of tin
And like sardines
We pack ‘em in!
We live in canyons
Of glass and steel
Corner hot dogs?
A gourmet meal!
Go YANKEES!
Our baseball team!
My city’s where kids
Come to dream
And when we tawk
We kinda squawk
So welcome friend
To my NOO YAWK!
Bronx Zoo
Coney Island
Museums too!
Yellow taxis
Zooming by
Skyscrapers
Scraping skies
Actors act on
Our Broadway
King Kong even
Came to play
Some say our trains
Are made of tin
And like sardines
We pack ‘em in!
We live in canyons
Of glass and steel
Corner hot dogs?
A gourmet meal!
Go YANKEES!
Our baseball team!
My city’s where kids
Come to dream
And when we tawk
We kinda squawk
So welcome friend
To my NOO YAWK!
