My Name is Eleanor
She plays hide and seek
in the sky.
She's tricky that way.
When I find her,
I point
and whisper "Found you!"
Sometimes she hides so well
She’s nowhere
and I give up.
She's out at different times.
Sometimes it's night.
Other times day.
She's in different places.
high in the sky
low on the edges.
She changes her look,
slim as a fingernail
or as full as a ball.
When I find her
I point and whisper, "Found you!"
My name is Eleanor and I am a moon watcher.
in the sky.
She's tricky that way.
When I find her,
I point
and whisper "Found you!"
Sometimes she hides so well
She’s nowhere
and I give up.
She's out at different times.
Sometimes it's night.
Other times day.
She's in different places.
high in the sky
low on the edges.
She changes her look,
slim as a fingernail
or as full as a ball.
When I find her
I point and whisper, "Found you!"
My name is Eleanor and I am a moon watcher.
