My Halloween Party
I hosted a party one dark Halloween,
My guests were aghast when a ghost could be seen
Descending the stairs looking lanky and lean,
With nothing up there where his head had once been.
They told me they thought me a horrible host,
And mine was the household they hated the most.
Of course, I feel guilty, but cannot help boast:
A party goes best if you’ve got a good ghost!
