My Family's Asleep in Utah
No one’s awake—
well maybe one:
I hold my breath
as the Utah sun
rushes through dark
with a golden glow
and slinky clouds
stretch out soft and slow
while a pinky rose
peeks into the sky—
in goes my breath
out goes a sigh.
well maybe one:
I hold my breath
as the Utah sun
rushes through dark
with a golden glow
and slinky clouds
stretch out soft and slow
while a pinky rose
peeks into the sky—
in goes my breath
out goes a sigh.
